Both respected and renowned for their individual producing pursuits, Gorgon City serves to fuse the deeper, sexier sounds that have excited the two producers for years but remained untouched. Releasing on Black Butter Records, their polished, powerful and party-minded sound has already caught the ears of tastemakers across the globe. You can thank their strict childhood diet of jungle, house, grime, hip-hop and garage. You can thank the many messy sessions they’ve spent DJing on the White Isle. You can thank the sonic chemistry between the pair in the studio. Either way, this exciting new project from Gorgon City is the sum of their many influences, inspirations and ideas; and right now they’ve only just scratched the surface.

Kidnap Kid closed last year with the accolade iTunes US ‘Best Electronic Song of 2012′ for his debut release ‘Vehl’ on cutting-edge indie, Black Butter Records. Now Kidnap Kid returns with ‘So Close’ as his second release on 25th March 2013 (available to download from 4th March).

Whilst creating his own award winning releases, Kidnap Kid aka Matt Relton extends his talents to remix and production duties, smashing official remixes for Emeli Sande and Disclosure, and recently co-producing tracks for Lulu James. Out of the studio, Kidnap Kid will be heading off on a 16 date US Tour in March, supporting Rudimental, TEED, AlunaGeorge & Disclosure.

With support coming from both radio and club tastemakers plus a loyal and supportive fan base, who’s interaction with his recent SoundCloud upload can testify, 2013 looks to be a big year for Kidnap Kid.

Redlight

Redlight is a Bristol raised, London based artist navigating the unnamed airspace between house, bass and beyond. Having already crafted a handful of jet-propelled bangers which have won over fans and followers including Skream, Toddla T, Jack Beats, A Trak, Mark Ronson, Zinc and Annie Mac.

2010 saw Redlight's rapid rise with the release of two dance floor destroyers. The first, 'Stupid' on Digital Sound Boy featuring the vocals of Roses Gabor. The second 'What You Talking About!? on Chase & Status' More Than Alot imprint, which saw the return to form of Ms Dynamite with devastating effect !!!

In the last 12 months Redlight has released two more unground bangers via Digital Sound Boy in the shape of 'Source 16' & 'Progress' as well as selectively remixing some choice artists from Ceelo Green to Mavrick Sabre to Ms Dynamite as well as continuing to produce tracks for some of the most promising up and coming UK acts.

The Redlight sound is spreading fast with his unique DJ sets throughout the UK and Europe and with his bi-monthly Rinse FM show this ensures people are sitting up and paying attention the World over.
