Taking his early queues from back in Bristol as a teenager, Redlight has certainly come a long way as a producer, DJ and artist in his own right over the course of his career. For the most part self-taught, much of his musical education stemmed from a wide range of interests - reggae, hip-hop and even horror films being some of his earliest and ultimately most important - but his recent output nods to a producer with far more than just a varied set of influences in his locker.

Now London-based and head of his own imprint Lobster Boy, Redlight has gone on to pen records with some of the world’s most iconic artists, including Mary J Blige, legendary rap figure Raekwon and most recently rising star vocalist Tinashe, with whom he joined forces on latest single ‘Pretend’. Currently putting the finishing touches to debut artist album project X-Colour - itself a glossy, thoughtfully curated body of tracks that encompass a myriad of different club-centric sounds - Redlight feels more than ready to build on the success of crossover singles ‘9TS’ and the anthemic ‘Gold Teeth’ too.
With plenty of pedigree on the touring circuit, including a recent run of dates in the US supporting BBC Radio 1’s Annie Mac, Redlight’s genre-blurring approach - as evidenced by his willingness to mix anything from garage, grime, hip-hop, house and even techno - also sets him apart as one of the UK’s most innovative selectors.

Born in Australia as Danny Chien, Wax Motif’s unique production style and fresh mixing skills have kept this rising producer in high demand. Continually wowing fans and industry insiders, his production efforts have drawn critical acclaim and support from the likes of Knife Party, Diplo, Nicky Romero, Tiesto, Tommy Trash, A- Trak, Laidback Luke, Crookers, Chuckie, The Chainsmokers, Steve Aoki and more.
Wax Motif has become a pioneer for the G-House movement, working with Destructo for his album on Interscope with the likes of Ty Dolla Sign, YG, Yung Thug, Problem, Kurupt and Warren G. His DJ sets already incorporate this style heavily into his mixing, and 2015 will see a lot of original productions in this vibe.
The super-fun “Love Ting” (produced with Anna Lunoe), deeply pleasurable “Go Deep” (with Neoteric) and his solo “Shimmy Shake” EP have attracted significant attention domestically and abroad, with “Go Deep” reaching top 5 status on the Beatport Electro House chart and the tracks receiving heavy airplay on BBC Radio 1, Capital, Kiss FM, Scion, Triple J, Channel V and Rage as well as being licensed to several compilations around the world. His recent collaboration is currently in rotation on Sirius XM and hit the top 10 of Beatport overall.
No stranger to the festival circuit, Wax has played EDC Las Vegas, New York & Mexico, HARD Summer & Day of the Dead, Holy Ship, Future Music Festival, Splendour in the Grass, and Rhythm & Vines to name a few. Wax has released tracks through A-trak’s Fool’s Gold, Laidback Luke’s Mixmash Records and Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records, a compilation on legendary label Strictly Rhythm as well as a host of remixes for the likes of Chromeo, Deadmau5, Warren G’s “Regulate” and more.

AC Slater (PARTY LIKE US / LOS ANGELES)

The King of Heavy Bass House in America

AC Slater has begun a lengthy career for himself with his "Night Bass" sound by fusing elements of house music with the dirty basslines of UK garage and sprinkles of old-school rave synths and breaks.

AC Slater's career kicked off with a bang in 2008, with his seminal remix of "Turn the Music Up" on Trouble & Bass becoming an instant anthem. Moby listed it as one of the best 10 tracks of the decade, declaring it a "perfect song." AC has collaborated with influential underground artists such as Nina Sky all the way to chart toppers like Far East Movement, and has done official remixes for the likes of Big Sean, Moby, Robin S. and many more. A quick look at Slater's Beatport page reveals well over 100 tracks and remixes over the last five years, including his best-selling Jack Got Jacked EP, a blatant declaration of the invasion of house music by all things bass (and the start of a lengthy friendship with Jack Beats).

Fast forward to the present, AC has toured the globe several times and his tunes have been played at every major festival and club in the world by DJs including Skrillex, Diplo and so many more. Slater's tunes and guest mixes can regularly be heard on major radio stations across the world, including the UK's BBC Radio 1 and Rinse FM and Australia's Triple J. His crew Trouble & Bass and his own record label Party Like Us continue to release some of the most groundbreaking and forward-thinking bass-heavy dance music in the underground.
